Refund & Cancellation Policy

We believe in transparency. Here is our clear policy on refunds and subscription cancellations.

Overview: Namma Dost offers subscription plans for service partners. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and how cancellations work. All payments are processed securely via Razorpay.

Refund Eligibility

1When You Are Eligible for a Refund

Eligible for Refund
  • Duplicate payment charged by error
  • Payment deducted but subscription not activated
  • Technical failure on our platform caused billing error
  • You were charged after cancelling the subscription on time
  • Unauthorized transaction reported within 7 days
Not Eligible for Refund
  • Change of mind after subscription starts
  • Unused portion of a running subscription period
  • Account suspended due to Terms violations
  • Requesting refund after 7 days of charge
  • Free plan (Basic) — no payment involved

2Refund Timeframe

Day 0: You raise a refund request via email
Within 2 business days: We review and approve/reject your request
Within 5–7 business days: Approved refund reflected in your bank account / original payment method
Refund processing time may vary based on your bank. UPI refunds typically take 2–3 business days. Card refunds may take up to 7 business days.

3How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your Namma Dost subscription at any time. Here's how:

Contact Us

Email us at info@nammadost.in with subject "Cancel Subscription" and include your registered phone number or Partner ID.

Confirmation

We will send a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours of receiving your request.

Service Access

Your premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the Basic (free) plan.

4Effect of Cancellation

  • You will retain access to your subscribed plan until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation is confirmed.
  • Your partner profile remains on the map under the Basic plan (free).
  • Premium features (priority listing, ratings badge, etc.) will be removed at end of billing period.
  • You can resubscribe at any time.
No lock-in: There are no cancellation fees or penalties for cancelling your subscription. You will never be charged for a period you did not use.

How to Request a Refund

5Refund Request Process

To request a refund, send an email to info@nammadost.in with the following details:

  • Subject: "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
  • Your registered phone number or Partner ID
  • Date and amount of the transaction
  • Razorpay payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email)
  • Reason for the refund request
Tip: You can find your Razorpay Payment ID in the payment confirmation SMS or email sent to you at the time of payment. It starts with "pay_".

6Payment Method for Refunds

All approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:

  • UPI payments: Refunded to the same UPI ID within 2–3 business days.
  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunded to the same card within 5–7 business days.
  • Net Banking: Refunded to the same bank account within 5–7 business days.
  • Wallets: Refunded to the same wallet within 2–3 business days.

We are unable to process refunds to a different payment method than the one originally used.

7Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect or unauthorized, please contact us immediately at info@nammadost.in. We will investigate all disputes within 3 business days.

If a dispute is not resolved satisfactorily, you may also raise a complaint directly with Razorpay at razorpay.com/support.
